…the Spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me, because He has chosen me. He has commissioned me to encourage the poor, to help the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives and the freeing of prisoners…

The Details

Here’s what we know so far:

Immediate Term

  • Community building! We have started raising a support community around us. We’ll be meeting with people quite often over the next few months, sharing our hearts and what God has laid on them. If you’d like to be one of these people we meet with, let us know!

Short Term

  • CPx starts in February and lots through July. It stands for Church Planting Experience and is a course focusing on church planting and disciple making in every day life.

Medium Term

  • We will then sign a 3 year initial commitment to All Nations. 3 years because that’s the commitment length we were told works well. This does not mean that we would be coming back after 3 years, just that we would re-evaluate our situation.
  • Brandon will do all sorts of tech geekery for All Nations. And he is much looking forward to using the skills God has given him in such a way.
  • Julianna would do “communications.” Sort of like PR work — help disseminate info to All Nations volunteers and supporters across the globe.

Long Term

  • Technology Training Centers After CPx, we’ll work towards developing a model for opening training centers (likely supported by internet cafés) that will provide real and needed job skills while allowing us to find peaceful people hungry for Jesus. Our dream is that these would be a launching point for discipleship and church planting in communities while at the same time creating jobs and imparting much needed skills.
  • If the above are successful — launching the model deeper in Africa!

Needs

  • Prayer!
  • Financial Support
    * We’ll need ~$2500/month plus startup expenses (~$5000).
    *
    As it’s finalized, we’ll make available more specific budget information.
